On the afternoon of July 8, 2024, President Chen Wannan of our college led a delegation to Dehua County Hospital as part of the 2024 "Enterprise Visit to Expand Employment Opportunities" initiative. The event was attended by Lin Jinxue, Deputy Mayor of Dehua County, alongside officials from the County Health Bureau, representatives from Dehua County Hospital, and delegates from our college. The meeting was chaired by Chen Jinxi, Deputy Secretary of the Dehua County Health Bureau and President of Dehua County Hospital.

During the meeting, Deputy Mayor Lin warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed the hope that the "Enterprise Visit to Expand Employment Opportunities" initiative would further deepen cooperation between the two parties. He emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration in medical education, research innovation, and clinical practice. By working together, both sides aim to improve healthcare service quality, cultivate outstanding medical professionals, and contribute to the health and well-being of the public.

President Chen expressed her gratitude for the hospital's long-standing support of the college's clinical practice teaching. She provided a comprehensive overview of the visit’s objectives, the college’s development progress, and the needs of the 2024 graduating class. Su Hongshu, President of Dehua County Hospital, gave a detailed presentation on the hospital’s recent developments and its growing demand for healthcare professionals. Both sides engaged in thorough discussions on key areas, including research and teaching, college-hospital collaboration, talent cultivation, and the integration of medical education with clinical practice. This exchange laid a solid foundation for deeper future cooperation. Following the meeting, President Chen and her delegation toured the hospital’s Interventional Department, Imaging Department, Rehabilitation Medicine Department, and the Shenzhen University General Hospital-Dehua County Hospital Precision Medicine Joint Research Center for further interactions and exchanges.

The successful implementation of this initiative facilitates the college’s deeper understanding of the hospital’s staffing requirements while establishing a mutually beneficial platform for supply and demand.
