On the morning of November 26th, the inauguration ceremony of the Quanzhou Medical Insurance College, jointly established by the Quanzhou Medical Insurance Bureau and our college, along with the opening of its first training session, was successfully held in the Academic Lecture Hall on the 8th floor of the Library and Information Center. Attendees included Huang Wenjie, Vice Mayor of Quanzhou Municipal People's Government; Zheng Weifeng, Second-Level Inspector of the Fujian Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau; Liang Buteng, former Party Member and Deputy Director, First-Level Inspector of the Fujian Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau; Li Boqun, Secretary of the QMC Party Committee; Zhang Jinzhu, Deputy Secretary-General of Quanzhou Municipal People's Government; Jiang Zhenping, Party Secretary of the Quanzhou Medical Insurance Bureau; and Li Xiaoling, Director of the Quanzhou Medical Insurance Bureau. Also present were leaders from relevant municipal departments and heads of medical insurance bureaus from various cities across the province. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Lin Jingcang.

Party Secretary Li Boqun delivered a speech on behalf ofour college, welcoming the distinguished leaders and guests who came to guide the event. Secretary Li introduced the preparatory work for the Medical Insurance College and expressed his expectations for its future development. He stated that the establishment of the Medical Insurance College is a significant achievement in the college's social services and a pioneering initiative in college-local cooperation to advance medical development. We will spare no effort in promoting the construction of the Medical Insurance College and contribute to the development of local healthcare.

Jiang Zhenping, Party Secretary of the Quanzhou Medical Insurance Bureau, delivered a speech on behalf of the bureau. Secretary Jiang stated that the Quanzhou Medical Insurance College is a high-level platform for medical insurance talent cultivation, jointly established by the Quanzhou Medical Insurance Bureau and Quanzhou Medical College. It integrates teaching, research, and practice, and will undertake the responsibility of training a new generation of medical insurance professionals. The college is committed to building a medical insurance knowledge system, improving the quality of medical insurance services, and promoting innovation in medical insurance policies.

Zheng Weifeng, Second-Level Inspector of the Fujian Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau, congratulated the establishment of the Quanzhou Medical Insurance College on behalf of the provincial bureau. He noted that the Quanzhou Medical Insurance College is the first municipal-level medical insurance college established after the provincial medical insurance training base. It will inject new vitality and momentum into the province's medical insurance work and become an important base for talent cultivation and academic research in the provincial medical insurance system. The provincial bureau will continue to promote cooperation and exchange between the Quanzhou Medical Insurance College and medical insurance departments at all levels, establishing a close cooperation mechanism to jointly conduct medical insurance policy research, business training, and consulting services. Through cooperation and exchange, resource sharing, complementary advantages, and collaborative development will be achieved, providing strong talent and intellectual support for the healthy development of the medical insurance industry.

The attending leaders jointly inaugurated the Quanzhou Medical Insurance College, marking its official establishment. Following this, Li Xiaoling, Director of the Quanzhou Medical Insurance Bureau, delivered a mobilization speech for the first training session. She introduced the bureau's beneficial explorations and achievements in medical insurance reform and offered three suggestions to the trainees: first, to attach great importance to the training and enhance their ideological and practical commitment to learning; second, to focus and diligently grasp the learning objectives and requirements; and third, to strictly adhere to discipline to ensure the smooth progress of the training.

After the ceremony, Liang Buteng, former Deputy Director of the Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau, delivered the first lecture of the training session titled "Conscientiously Implementing the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session and Promoting High-Quality Development of Medical Insurance." Approximately 180 participants, including staff from the municipal medical insurance system, medical insurance management personnel from designated medical institutions, and medical insurance business backbones from townships (sub-district offices), attended the training.
