On the morning of December 1, 2024, Quanzhou Medical College held a mobilization meeting for the military training of freshmen of the class 2024 at the Nan'an Campus. Wang Cuiling, the deputy secretary of the college's Party committee, Fang Youtao and Liu Hangbo, leaders of military instructor team, as well as leaders from schools attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Chen Yiling, the director of the Student Affairs Office. All the military instructors, all the freshmen and their counselors attended the meeting.

The meeting kicked off with the national anthem, during which all the teachers and students stood solemnly and watched theraising of the national flag. Then the military instructors gave a wonderful demonstration of military skills and combat skills , earning rounds of applause from the teachers and students present.

Wang Cuiling, the deputy secretary of the college's Party committee, gave a motivational speech in which she emphasized that the military training is an important way to strengthen national defense education and enhance students’ national defense awareness, as well as an important lesson for students as they enter the college. She hoped that all the freshmen would take seriously the military training, obey orders, support each other, and pay attention to safety and health during the training.

After she finished her speech, Wang presented the flag to the military instructor team on behalf of the college, which marked the beginning of the military training.

Jia Jiru, the representative of military instructors, stated that all the instructors would be strict with students and conduct the training with scientific methods and  serious attitudes. Liao Xuewei, a representative of the freshmen, expressed the freshman’s expectation of the upcoming military training. She said that she would take seriously the training. Fang Youtao, the leader of the military instructor team, delivered an inspiring speech in which he encouraged the students to learn the glorious traditions and find conduct of the military from their instructors, strengthen their will and cultivate good discipline during the military training.

With the uniform slogan, theparticipating freshmen marched to the designated location and began their military training. It is believed that under the guidance of military instructors, the freshmen will strengthen their will and enhance their abilities during the military training, which will lay a solid foundation for their future study and life.
