On the morning of March 20, in response to the Party Committee’s “3+1” Special Initiative, the Fourth General Affairs Party Branch of Quanzhou Medical College organized a themed Party Day activity under the banner “Steady Test Flight Trajectory, Strict Integrity Path”. Members from the Logistics Management Office, Asset Management Office, and Finance Office, together with members from the General Party Branch of the School of Health Sciences, participated in the activity. Yang Xiumin, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Secretary of the General Affairs Party Branch, attended the entire event and provided guidance.

The activity integrated theoretical study, expert lecture, and practical experience to actively explore an innovative model of “Party building + business work”, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the college’s operations.

In his opening remarks, Branch Secretary Jin Rengui emphasized that as a branch responsible for logistics support, asset supervision, and financial management, the Fourth General Affairs Party Branch must always uphold the principle of “discipline as iron, rules as steel.”

Just like unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) require precise flight path planning and must avoid no-fly zones, Party members must stay within the boundaries of Party discipline. Daily operations, he noted, must be guided by Party regulations as a navigation system, and powered by self-discipline and integrity to ensure every process can stand up to scrutiny.

The event began with a group study session led by Comrade Jin Rengui on the Code of Integrity and Self-Discipline of the Communist Party of China, urging all Party members to treat the Code as a mirror and integrate its requirements into their daily duties. Following that, all participants watched an instructional video on Regulations on Disciplinary Action of the Communist Party of China, engaging in a thorough article-by-article analysis to develop a systematic understanding of the scope and depth of disciplinary norms.

Zhang Pingliang, Chairman of Tengfei UAV Academy, delivered a lecture linking UAV flight control theory with integrity governance. He explained concepts such as low-altitude airspace management, no-fly red lines, “precise positioning,” and “dynamic correction,” drawing parallels between UAV operation and anti-corruption risk management. In the subsequent UAV test-flight session, Party members conducted real flight simulations, further reinforcing the message that “safe flying” parallels business conduct.

Yang Xiumin, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and General Affairs Party Branch, spoke highly of the activity. She praised the creative use of “test flight trajectory” as a metaphor for the “path of integrity,” calling the format innovative and the content insightful. She noted that participation from the School of Health Sciences Party Branch set a good example and encouraged other Party branches to explore joint Party Day activities, fostering cross-unit cooperation and supervisory synergy to overcome isolated working silos.

She emphasized that the “3+1” Special Initiative should be taken as a keyopportunity to integrate Party discipline education into the regular activities of grassroots Party organizations. Efforts should be made to transform discipline learning from “passive reception” to proactive practice, continuously strengthening the efficiency of Party branches. In key public-facing areas such as logistics services, asset oversight, and financial approval, Party members must take the lead, assume responsibility, and strictly enforce discipline through action—safeguarding high-quality college development.

This themed Party Day activity effectively combined learning with practice, reinforcing awareness of Party discipline and integrity among Party members. It achieved notable results in encouraging members to transform disciplinary standards into operational guidelines. The branch collectively strengthened its sense of mission in supporting the college’s strategic goal of upgrading to an undergraduate institution, contributing clean governance momentum through solid performance and responsibility.
