Three city-wide training sessions on medical insurance policies for directors of designated medical institutions have been jointly held by Quanzhou Medical College and Quanzhou Healthcare Security Bureau atthe Quanzhou Healthcare Security School since April 10th. Jiang Zhenping, Party Secretary of the Municipal Healthcare Security Bureau, Li Xiaoling, Director of the Bureau, and Wang Zongping, Deputy Director of the Bureau attendedthe opening ceremony and delivered the speech respectively. Lin Jingcang, a member of the College Party Committee and Vice President of Quanzhou Medical College, presided over the ceremony. Over 400 participants attended the session, including directors of public and private designated medical institutions, medical insurance section chiefs, as well as members of the policy promotion teams.

This series of training programs, conducted in three phases over six days, focused on key topics including the supervision and operation of medical insurance fund, medical service management, medical insurance fund operations, and medical service pricing and medical equipment procurement management. The curriculum is meticulously designed to meet industry needs, offering substantive and highly practical content that empowers participants to systematically master medical insurance policies while effectively enhancing their awareness and abilities to provide medical insurance services legally.

The training series received widespread acclaim and positive feedback from participants. Most participants believed that the practice-oriented training would effectively help them address the challenges they encounter. In addition, the trainees also offered some suggestions on issues such as the development of medical insurance training, employment, healthcare talent cultivation, and community health services,  which served as critical references for optimizing future training initiatives.

The hosting of this series of training sessions on medical insurance policies for directors of designated medical institutions highlights the college's commitment to the local service and promotes the development of the healthcare security sector. As the college’s external service platform, Quanzhou Healthcare Security School will continue to focus on the talent cultivation, improvement of the training quality and service, and strengthen its role as a regional hub for medical insurance professionals.
