In order to implement the policy on the employment of college graduates issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, secretary Li Boqun of the Party Committee of our college led a team, accompanied by Deputy Secretary Wang Cuiling and heads of relevant departments, to Dehua County to expand employment opportunities and deepen college-local collaboration on April 27th. The visit aimed to precisely align with the talent needs in the healthcare sector, facilitating the employment for graduates.

Secretary Li and his delegation first visited the herbs garden at Dehua County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Strolling through the garden, the group learned to identify various medicinal herbs and their medicinal properties. Secretary Li spoke highly of Dehua County's achievements in popularizing TCM culture and nurturing TCM talent. He noted that there would be broad prospects for the development of TCM. The college and local community each hold unique strengths in TCM resources, which calls for enhanced resource sharing and synergistic collaboration.

Then the two parties held a symposium in the conference room, exchanging views on TCM talent cultivation, curriculum design, and practical teaching. Lin Yuping, Deputy County Magistrate of Dehua, extended a warm welcome to Secretary Li and his delegation. She introduced the county’s current development and achievements in healthcare sector, and acknowledged the strong collaborative relationship between Dehua's medical institutions and our college, as well as the outstanding contributions our college has made to the county's medical talent development. Furthermore, She expressed new expectations for further expanding college-local cooperation.

Secretary Li provided an overview of the college’s educational operation status, discipline construction, and future development. He emphasized that the college would remain market-driven and be committed to cultivating application-oriented talents with excellent skills for primary healthcare service. The delegation gained deeper insights into Dehua County's medical demands through the visit. In the future, the college will actively encourage more qualified graduates to join the regional healthcare system and contribute to the local development. The symposium was attended by leaders of multiple medical institutions and officials from the Dehua County Health Bureau.

In recent years, the college and Dehua County have established a close and efficient collaborative mechanism. By tailored training programs and collaborative development of practical training bases, the college has supplied a large number of highly qualified medical talents to Dehua County, providing talent support for the development of its local healthcare sector.

The visit has built an important platform for deeper collaboration between both parties. They stated that they would leverage their respective advantages, and carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in areas such as talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, and medical service enhancement, which will write a new chapter in medical talent cultivation and cooperation, making greater contributions to safeguarding public health and well-being.
