On April 30, Vice President Chen Xianyi led a delegation to Community Health Service Centerof the Quanxiu Subdistrict in Fengze District as part of a Targeted Initiative aimed at expanding employment opportunities for graduates. The visit was part of the school’s ongoing “Promote Employment by Visiting Enterprises” campaign to promote high-quality and full employment among its students. Participants in the visit included Ke Xianshan, Director of the Community Health Service Center, Zhang Wenjie, Party Secretary of the School of Health Sciences, Hong Yingying, Party Secretary of the School of Nursing, and Chen Zhiyi, Deputy Director of the Admissions and Employment Office.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vice President Chen elaborated on the college’s educational philosophy, which is grounded in the characteristics of medical education, and outlined current key development initiatives. Citing policy guidance such as the “Notice on Promoting Employment and Entrepreneurship for the 2025 Cohort of University Graduates”, he highlighted the professional strengths and practical competencies of the college’s graduates. He expressed the hope that both parties would strengthen collaboration in areas such as talent development, research innovation, internship programs, and community services to foster a synergistic model of cooperative education.
Director Ke highly commended the college’s rigorous academic standards and the strong professional qualities demonstrated by its students. He expressed a keen interest in recruiting graduates from the college and provided a detailed overview of the service center’s organizational structure, service scope, and talent needs. Ke also voiced his desire to establish a long-term and stable partnership with the college to support talent development in primary healthcare.
During the exchange and site visit, in-depth discussions were held on aligning employment needs with student training, enhancing the construction of practical training bases, and refining talent cultivation plans to improve graduates’ employability. The dialogue fostered a strong consensus between both parties, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.
This initiative not only enhanced the alignment between the college’s talent cultivation and the needs of the society, but also created a close-knit platform for connecting grassroots medical institutions with medical education. Furthermore, it offered valuable insights for optimizing professional training programs. The college will continue to thoroughly implement employment policies, adhere strictly to the principles of the Eight-Point Regulation, and advance its “Graduate Employment Promotion Campaign” by proactively engaging with relevant industries. Through these efforts, the college aims to broaden employment pathways, strengthen supply-demand coordination, and establish comprehensive, multidimensional strategic partnerships to support graduates in achieving high-quality and full employment.
