To further advance the reform of the college's personnel system and promote the high-quality development of the teaching faculty in the new era, on May 8, 2025, Chen Wannan, who is the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Quanzhou Medical College, conducted a field survey on personnel and talent development in the First Conference Room on the 10th floor of the Library and Information Center. The survey was presided over by Vice President of Quanzhou Medical College Chen Xianyi and attended by all members of the Human Resources Department.
At the meeting, the head of Human Resources Department gave a comprehensive report on the current status and future development of the teaching faculty in the context of the institution's upgrade to undergraduate-level education, the progress of 14 key documents scheduled for formulation or revision in 2025, and other related personnel matters. The report focused particularly on proposed strategies and insights regarding post-upgrade talent recruitment, differentiated management of teachers, and the management of clinical teaching staff.
President of Quanzhou Medical College Chen Wannan acknowledged the recent progress made by the Human Resources Department, provided detailed guidance on the reported initiatives, and specified the timelines for key tasks. She emphasized that Human Resources Department should proactively align with the college's needs for talent development and discipline construction, strike a balance between rigor and flexibility, and strengthen collaboration with functional departments and secondary colleges. She also called for a comprehensive analysis of the current staffing structure, staff redeployment strategies, and future talent recruitment and evaluation, in order to provide robust support for the college's high-quality development through higher standards and more effective measures.
The Human Resources Department will take this field survey as an opportunity to further optimize the personnel management and talent development systems, ensure thorough implementation of various initiatives, and provide strong talent support for the college’s ongoing development.
