On the afternoon of May 7, 2025, the School of Stomatology held the award ceremony for the 17th Clinical Skills Competition in Stomatology and the 9th “Guangzhou Cup” Skills Contest at the Innovation Park. Yang Xiumin, Member of the College Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the event along with all judges, participating students, and faculty representatives. The event was marked by an enthusiastic and energetic atmosphere.
During the ceremony, judges Wang Pingping, Huang Hongjin, and Zheng Xiaobin offered professional evaluations of the students’ performances. Their comments highlighted both the outstanding aspects and areas for improvement. Chief Judge Lin Hang noted in his summary that the addition of new competition items—eggshell carving and digital intraoral scanning—not only honed students’ fine motor skills, but also reflected the alignment of dental education with industry advancements.
