On May 22, 2025, Li Boqun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Quanzhou Medical College, led a team to inspect key safety areas on campus, as part of efforts to implement the directives in the Notice on Thoroughly Implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Instructions and Preventing Major Accidents, which was issued by the Quanzhou Municipal Work Safety Committee. Vice President of Quanzhou Medical College Chen Xianyi accompanied the inspection, together with heads and staff from the Student Affairs Office, Science and Technology Center, Security Office, and the Clinical Medical School.

Under the leadership of the Secretary of the Party Committee of Quanzhou Medical College Li Boqun, the team inspected safety management practices in key areas such as elevator machine rooms, fire control centers, cafeteria kitchens, student dormitories, power distribution rooms, and laboratories at the Medical Research Center. The team conducted on-site spot checks of elevator maintenance records, inspected the operation of the fire linkage system, reviewed the registration of the "Three-Fixed" inspections for fire equipment, and assessed students' understanding of laboratory safety protocols.

During the supervision and inspection, Secretary of the Party Committee of Quanzhou Medical College Li Boqun emphasized that all responsible departments must fully assume their safety responsibilities, strengthen the identification and rectification of potential hazards, improve emergency response plans, and resolutely prevent and contain all types of safety incidents.
