On the afternoon of May 28, 2025, our college held a special meeting on teaching and research work for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year in the first conference room on the 10th floor of the Library and Information Center. Vice President LinJingcang, Directorof the Academic Affairs Office, Directorof the Technology Center, deans of various departments, vice-deans in charge of teaching and research, heads of academic affairs offices, and research coordinators attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yushan, Director of the Academic Affairs Office.

At the meeting, the Academic Affairs Office and the Technology Center respectively provided in-depth interpretations and task assignments for the "Special Action Plan for Improving Teaching Ability" and the "Special Action Plan for Improving Research Ability". This clarified the key directions for the new stage in terms of teaching and research organization, result cultivation, and reform and innovation. Director Zhang Yushan of the Academic Affairs Office and Deputy Director Xu Rong of the Technology Center respectively provided additional explanations of the plans. They emphasized that each department should develop specific implementation measures based on their own actual situation to ensure the plans are implemented effectively and achieve tangible results.

Focusing on educational and teaching work, the Academic Affairs Office addressed the issues in the revision of the 2025-level talent training program and proposed optimization ideas. It guided departments in formulating talent training programs scientifically and enhancing them in a standardized way by referring to national standards, relevant documents, regulations, and their professional characteristics. Additionally, it outlined the teaching task arrangements for the autumn semester of 2025-2026, ensuring the teaching plan is planned in advance and advanced steadily.

The meeting reported on the progress of the teaching evaluation work for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, analyzed the situation of the first stage of the "3+3" mock exam, and assigned tasks for the teaching arrangements and final exam organization for the 2025 graduates. This provided data support and directions for improvement for further optimizing classroom teaching, standardizing exam management, and preparing for new graduates. The meeting also interpreted the "Management Measures for the Selection of Off-Campus Practice Teaching Bases" and conducted a comprehensive summary and feedback on the internship work of the 2023 cohort of students, strengthening the standardized management and efficient utilization of practice teaching resources.

Vice President Lin emphasized that all departments must place high importance on teaching and research work, take swift action, and carefully organize and implement special enhancement activities. He urged them to thoroughly identify and address weaknesses, strictly adhere to standard procedures, strengthen process management, foster a mindset of excellence, benchmark against top-tier standards, and strive for outstanding achievements. He also called for the continuous deepening of educational reform and strengthening of research efforts to comprehensively enhance the college'srunning quality and service capabilities, and to elevate all aspects of the college's work to new heights.
