On the afternoon of June 25, 2025, the anti-drug propaganda activity "Inheriting the Spirit of Humen Opium Destruction•Forging a National Anti-Drug Soul" and "Preventing Substance Abuse among Adolescents" was held in Tongde Grand Auditorium of the Nan'an Campus, hosted by the Nan'an Anti-Drug Committee. On the occasion of the 240th anniversary of Lin Zexu's birth, the staff choir of Quanzhou Medical College made its debut, injecting moving power into anti-drug propaganda with full enthusiasm and sincere emotions.

As an important part of Nan'an's series of activities commemorating the 240th anniversary of Lin Zexu's birth and preventing substance abuse among adolescents, the event attracted leaders from the Nan'an Municipal Party Committee and Government, leaders of our college, and representatives from all walks of life. Against the solemn anti-drug theme background, the staff choir of Quanzhou Medical College concluded the event with two classic songs, Never Forget the Original Aspiration and The Red Flag is Fluttering. The passionate melody echoed with the anti-drug theme, demonstrating the social responsibility of medical educators who are "committed to health and entrusted with lives".

This performance is the result of the joint efforts of "leadership guidance, wide participation, professional guidance, and a clear theme". Since its establishment, this staff art team has insisted on at least one collective training session per week, pursuing artistic perfection in their spare time. Every training session and every refinement over the past six months has counted—these little efforts have converged into this high-level artistic debut. It not only conveys anti-drug power to society but also sets a new benchmark for building a harmonious campus. In the future, the team will continue to improve its artistic standards, actively engage in social welfare propaganda, and create a campus cultural brand that combines medical characteristics with humanistic connotations.

Taking this debut as a starting point, the College Trade Union will enable more staff to gather strength through artistic practice and transmit more positive energy for serving society.
